Angelfish are a member of the Cichlid family. Angelfish are a more aggressive in their behavior, but can be kept in community tanks. It is recommended that they be kept with only fish of their own size. They should be kept in small schools. Angelfish should be kept in a large, tall aquarium. They also like to live among plants but should have lots of room to swim around in. Angelfish are a beautiful elegant fish to watch, but I wouldn't really recommened for a beginner tank. Angelfish are egglayers, but the fry will be free swimming in about four to five days. Both parents will protect the eggs from other fish. The temperature should be raised to 75-86 degrees F. Temperature - Between 75-78 degrees F Feeding Recommendations - Cichlid Flakes, Cichlid Bites, Total Tropical Flake Food, Freeze Dried Plankton (supplement) Breeding - Egglayers |
