Zebra or Convict
Central American Cichlid

Convicts are known to be very agressive fish, and will attack almost any other species no matter the size. They can be kept in a cichild community tank, but can become very territorial so it should be a large tank.  They should be kept with fish with similar aggression levels.  Convicts are also extremely easy to breed, and if you have a male and female in a tank together, you are guaranteed breeding.  Males are bigger with steeper forehead and more elongated fins.

Temperature: 73 - 81 degrees F

Breeding: Cavity brooder with father/mother family.

Feeding reccomendations: All tupes including vegetarian.
