In This Season           Sarah Dudley Oct 93

In this season when we celebrate the birth of he who came,

To bring us hope for better days, lift burdens, heal the lame.

In this season when we try to do so much sometimes we feel,

We're torn and fragmented in too many pieces to deal.

I wish you peace from him who peace does come.

I wish you peace, the peace giv'n when we come. . .

Come to the Christ Child, no longer the babe.

Come to the Christ Child. In your trials he's laid.

Come to the Christ Child. He'll show you your worth.

Come to the Christ Child. You'll have peace on earth.

In this season when children forget just why this season's here,
We must remind in loving ways just why this season's here.

In this season when we rush around to buy the presents bright,

If we aspire to maintain focus clear and not be trite.

We will have peace from him who peace does come.

We will have peace, the peace giv'n 'cause we've come,

Come to the Christ Child, no longer the babe.

Come to the Christ Child. In your trials he's laid.

Come to the Christ Child. He'll show you your worth.

Come to the Christ Child. You'll have peace on earth.

Come To The Christ Child
