Being with you, only with you, and spending time together. Rarely happens now.  We have children, Who need our time and love. However, when we find the time, And things work out right, There are memories to treasure. And, I store them up like the flower drinks, The quiet rain that falls.

Through the trying times and the drudgery We will smile and say "it will pass." Then we'll meet again, One day, you and I, And spend some time alone at last.

You and I are quite a pair. We're different, yet the same. We move in and out of love, And our friendship heals the pain.

Sharing hopes and dreams, and darkest fears In a place of trust and love, Is a blessing rare. One shows we care Fore the feelings of the other on.
