INFORMATION

Sarah Murray Lewis Chapter  is composed of residents from Bath, Highland and Augusta Counties plus various other places in the state of Virginia and the United States whose roots and interest are in those local counties.

ACTIVITIES

We promote the "DAR Good Citizen Award"  both Bath County and Highland County High School.

We promote the DAR Patriotism Award in the area grade schools.

We support the DAR Service for Veterans in Salem, Virginia with clothes, books, and monetary donations.

An American Flag is donated once a year to a community club or organization.

Subscriptions of the DAR Magazine -"American Spirit"- are provided for both Bath and Highland County libraries.

Programs are well planned with the National and State goals being promoted.
