He nodded and without a word stepped forward unknowingly into death. For as soon as he bent to deposit the food onto the table Corvia swept up behind him and grabbed his neck with her hands driving her teeth deep into the luminous pink flesh. He didn't even have time to moan before he hit the ground with a hard thud. Corvia looked at him, her curly rich hair falling into her face and sticking onto the blood that was quickly drying on her lips. "Drink." She commanded reaching down and picking up his head two obvious puncture wounds visible in his neck.
The smell of blood was intriguing Vennom beyond his concept to comprehend. He knew that he waned it the desire burned deep in his heart and somewhere inside a voice said over and over. It's human blood! But it was countered by a much stronger prenatural voice screaming Kill or be killed! So he did sliding off the maroon violet couch down onto the floor and bending his head over the body of the man.
He was shocked but not relived to find him still breathing. He pressed his lips to the puncture wound in the man's throat and drank, drank the thick red life giving substance that he would have to derive immortally from now on. It filled him up, every vein in his body pulsing with it's divine power and again he felt the steady beating of the man's heart weakening and fading until there was no more.
"Stop!" Corvia's voice drifted to him as if he where in a dream awaking him from his drought. "If you drink after their dead you'll die!" She said helping him up with her supreme highly developed vampiress' strength.
"what are we supposed to do with him?" Vennom said his head suddenly feeling a bit light.
"The same thing we do with all the others friend.." She replied a smirk curving her blood stained lips. Vennom felt a bit sick to his stomach, he would kill because he had to, but he would not eat... "We'll burn them." She said seeing the relief in his eyes. Or some elief he still had the sick feeling that he had committed mortal sin, and that he was condemned to hell forever. If he died..
And if hell would even accept something as bloodthirsty and killing as he would eventually become. Never mind, He was one the children of Satan now wasn't he? "We must make a stop though, I can't go on without my Shafreaka..."
"What?" Vennom said his silver hued eyes widening. "her?" He pointed to a thin blonde haired woman sitting across the ways from him sipping a glass of wine. Though he and Corvia pretended to drink theirs as they sat on thin white metal chairs with thick padded red cousins at the local café, they knew they couldn't. Vennom had never tasted wine in his life and Corvia, hadn't for over three hundred years. Shafreaka sat content on the white metal chair, her face under her wing as she slept peacefully, the only mortal thing present in the group of 3.
"Yes." Corvia hissed running her finger around the top of the glass irritantly flashing like lightning in her eyes. "And don't make it so friggin obvious you buffoon! Just lure her into your trap. You have speed strength and you can hypnotize her for crying out loud! She's an easy kill. Go for it."
Vennom glanced around they where the last two people at the Café it was getting dark, all the better for them, but worse for everyone else. Two vampires lurked in the streets now, al the more deadly and cunning than ever. He slide his chair back soundlessly and slid over to her, his movements cat like and graceful. He pulled a chair out from underneath table and sat down in it, his eyes immediately locking on the blonde woman's.
Hers where clear blue, the color of day and under the thin skin of her temples Vennom watched her veins pumping blood to her heart. He was hungry and the want of blood was taking over him again. Her face was flawless, she was no doubt in the prime of her life, but it was readable like one might read a book, for it was mortal. A smirk passed her lips followed by a sarcastic by satisfied smile. "Isn't your friend going to be a bit angry that you left her for me?" Her voice was sweet and soft like silver bells ringing at Christmas time.
Vennom smiled carefully hiding the two not totally mature fangs from view. "Of course not." He said hearing the dull metallic sound already working in his voice as he said it. He slid his chair closer to her and wrapped an arm around her shoulders leaning in towards her face.
"Awfully outgoing for a stranger aren't you?" She said as his lips and then fangs pressed down on her neck drawing a thin line of blood. He bit down harder, the warmth flowing into his mouth and filling up his veins once more. And the familiar drowsy feeling came over him again, but it didn't block out the sound of the blonde woman's glass falling to the ground with a shattering crash.
He pulled away and released her body to fall to the ground with a thud crash, snapping her neck and one of her legs. It would appear to any passersby's that it had been a simple accident, a woman falling out her chair. An odd way to die, but they would never see the bite marks, or more or less tear marks Venom had left. Not unless they looked very hard.
"Well done Venn.." Corvia hissed a grin gracing her lips. "You'll be a killer in no time. Next time though, unless you want the feeling of betrayal to sink in, don't get to know them or even talk to them. Just kill them."
Corvia killed strangers but she liked to play with her victims, but form experience she knew that she was one of the few that did. Vennom nodded the woman's blood running down his lips and onto his chin. Corvia strode up to him and brushed it away, and couldn't help herself but smile. She had chosen well, He was handsome, and his skin was flushed with the woman's blood a reminder of a weeks nights ago, when he had been mortal.
But those days where over, he was immortal now, as immortal as she was and he was tough. They had moved to a Azon, away from the Sanrix and busy folk more in the country, when rumors spread of an unknown death wouldn't reach them. Killer live alone, and so would they.
It was her turn to find a victim now, and she knew who she wanted. There was rumor of a rider from Azon, a tall dark and handsome man. People told her that he was immortal as she and he had quite and impact on everyday Sanrix life.
To drink the blood of another immortal increased your power, all knew this. And Corvia was after the man most called Sargon. And id rumor was right he'd be arriving her shortly, on the stroke of 8 to talk to the woman, a possible candidate, that Vennom had just struck down.
He arrived shortly after 8, the sun was casting it's final strokes of light upon Rayllom, the last strokes of hope and light. Everything opposite of the two who waited in the shadows for the son of a goddess. He was as tall and handsome as Corvia thought, with a sense about him that seemed even more powerful than the greatest vampire could muster. He was old, older than Corvia by at least 200 years but his face showed none of his age, but the shock of seeing the dead woman was clear.
He ran over to her picking up a hand and then realizing that there was no pulse. The woman's head swayed unnaturally on her dead body and her collar fell down low enough to reveal the bite marks left by Vennom. "Cursed vampires." He mumbled gently laying the body of the woman down a scowl gracing his face, yellow eyes searching in the shadows for what he knew was lurking there.
Corvia smirked, he couldn't see them even if he wanted too, he was half mortal and that would screw up his vision in the dark. But his eyes locked on them in the shadows and he folded his arms angrily.
"What?" Corvia whispered so that only Vennom could hear as he bent down over her. "There's no way that he could-"
"Yes there is." Sargon growled raising his lip in a rather wolfish irritation. "For you are the two loudest vampires I've ever met. You killed off the candidate I was recruiting so your going to take her place." He looked down and closed his eyes for a brief second, long enough for Corvia and Vennom to emerge from the shadows and stand in front of them, their white skin glowing in the fluorescent lighting fixture that hung above.
When he opened them again they weren't filled with the same hatred, some form of it but not the same. "Corvia, for you a path of darkens equal to your own: Ring of Fire's Halloween clutch, a silly but quite interesting Earthian holiday. "
His gaze turned upon Vennom, and he stood quite still very shocked, that this man was talking to them, and when his gaze upon him he blinked concealing his inner thoughts the way Corvia had taught him. "And Vennom that flitter of yours is from Ryslen correct?" Vennom nodded not responding to a word he said if Corvia didn't, she knew more than he. "Then you shall go to Ryslen and bond a dragon at the Flurry." Sargon said eyes sliding form Vennom to Corvia in turn. "I know you kill to stay alive but take one life of Weyr-personal and I'll kick both of your sorry buts into the afterworld..." He growled lip twitching.
"Fine then." Corvia said a rare grin flickering across her face. "We shall go and kill only what need be." Her eyes landed on Vennom and she mentally whispered. Dragon are of great use, they are fast and can teleport, think of the things we could do!
D-Dragons?Whatever you say Corvia whatever you say..
Corvia was becoming rather bored with this ancient volcano of a place, so far behind in technology than her homeland of Rayllom, but also so...pathetic. Why did Sargon send her here? This place was too boring too dull. She shook her head deep in thought, chocolate curls swooshing back and forth. She sat staring out on the sands ignoring the passer byes who wondered what she was up to. "Is she going to savatage the eggs?" One asked all but preparing to grab her the moment she moved. The only thing Corvia did was glare up at him with those dark chocolate eyes, she wouldn't harm dragons after all.
"You can never trust those vampiress-es.." another muttered, under her breath to her equally pretty friend, they both tried to conceal their fear as they cantered to quickly by her. She glared out of the corner of her eye at them, they might want to watch themselves when the wind blows still tonight. Corvia hadn't eaten in a week or two, she had lost track of Rayllomian time since she had been here, and if she didn't eat soon she'd have to either break her word to Sargon, or leave this place immediately, before anyone notices she was gone.
If the eggs didn't hatch soon...She closed her eyes again trying to fight down her urge to kill, to hunt, and those girls had just walked by their fear...She bit her tongue. Corvia dared not try anything funny in front of the other resident vampire, Dathius was it? She wouldn't pull anything on him, she didn't know these people as well as she wanted to before she killed one. And he thought he could keep her inline if need be, she almost laughed at the thought but kept her mouth shut, she didn't want to cause any trouble with the other vampires. One might know her father, and if her father found out about Vennom...
She blinked and to her surprise the egg a few yards off from her was rocking. "Um.." She stuttered unsure of what to do other than grab the nearest RoF personal and point it out to him. Poor man almost wet himself on the spot, she would have laughed if she hadn't been so light headed and weak, she needed blood and fast, this bond of hers better hurry.
There where seven eggs left. C'mon Corvia you've been through worse just keep your wits and hang on, seven more. She re-opened her eyes to see a marvelously colored she-dragon only feet away from her and the rest of the candidates, blood red with black markings and gold on her tail and front legs. She was a beauty and would be very large, or so someone to the rear of her said. the blood-queen opened her wings to reveal all the darkest shade of black as she ignored the hissings from another dragon, a male. That a way.. Corvia thought a smirk creasing her crimson lips. Show that boy that women are truly in charge. And to her surprise not the least disappointment the beauty of a queen made her way towards Corvia, strutting more than walking.
I Succubith, hope that your man gets a nice dragon for me. A proud but dangerously sexy voice drifted form the baby-sized queen into Corvia's head. She smiled showing her sharp white fangs, but could say no more, she needed to kill and soon. Maybe this dragonet would like something to eat, too. Succubith did she say? Beautiful name...fits her...Succubith.
Corvia nodded to the queen and unable to carry her even if she wanted too, walked with the queen off the sands and passed the feeding chambers, until she was standing in the front entrance to RoF, just standing and not knowing what she was waiting for. The blood-queen pranced merrily up besides Corvia, tail twining around the fair skinned woman's ankle. Putting a lot of trust in this Sargon aren't you?
"If he fails me he will pay with the lives of every friggin person here." Corvia snarled as sweetly as possible scratching the dragoness behind the ears.
They didn't have to wait long from out of the air a giant black-bronze dragon swooped down, gracefully as the 92 foot could muster and landed a mere three feet away. Sargon slid of his mighty bond's back and grinned at Corvia when he saw her, his white fangs mirroring her own, thought she doubted they used them for the same purpose. "Ah! A Queen, could use another few of those around Azon, I knew you were worthy Corvia!" He patted her on the back. "I brought you something, figured you'd be hungry Bolton was rather reluctant to carry it on his back however. I'll be quick just need to talk to Lani for a few..."
Corvia would have protested if she wouldn't have been dying of hunger. She scrambled up the black-bronze's back to see a box, filled to the brim with packets of blood from one of the Rayllomian hospitals. She laughed her dull mechanical laughter and drained all 26. Feeling more revived and in better sprits she turned to the blood moon queen who had patiently awaited her. she was as gorgeous as Corvia, dark as Sargon had hinted, and the vampiress realized something that moment, most dragons and riders reflect each other somehow...
"Do you think my lovely Succubith, that it is time for a redo of wardrobe?" Corvia's sweet and sour voice asked her all to lovely for her own good succubus partner.
I was just about to suggest the same Corvia, I was think something red, or black, it is about time you played to part, and now that your a rider no one could think otherwise of a more...traditional dress. The blood-queen responded laughing her own draconic laugh that mirrored Corvia's.
"so we have it I guess, me and Vennom kill and you and whoever he bonds too will eat whatever we do. That way there's no need to dispose of the bodies?" The dragoness nodded an licked her lips but had no time to mentally respond for Sargon had climbed back atop his bond's back.
I don't like them. Bolton rumbled, for he had been trying unsuccessfully to block out their conversations. I think we should leave them hear.
"Everyone is weird in their own little way I guess." Sargon shrugged and for the first time his eye caught Corvia. "A little hungry were we? Geesh.." He said watching a drip of blood fall form her stained lips to the ground. "Whatever.." He stuck out his tongue in disgust. "We best be heading to Ryslen, the flurry is due to hatch soon, or so I think.

The flurry hatching had just started only about ten or so dragons had made there bonds and Vennom was watching them intently, every dragon thus far seemed to somehow match their rider's personality. If this continued, what would become of him? Would he bond a monster like Corvia's? He shouldn't say that, Succubith was fiercely loyal and maybe a bit bloody thirsty but she was a good queen, and most definitely she'd make a good mother.
It was then his attention was drawn to a creamy white egg that had rolled out in front of him, it shattered pieces of shell flying everywhere. He held up an arm to protect his face as a near bye candidate ducked a chunk flying her way. From somewhere in the stands he heard Corvia's metallic laughter, his super-natural hearing kicking in.
A white dragon stood before Vennom fangs bared teeth glowing as pearly as his coat, that sparkled with white snow flakes that could be seen more clearly against the blood red Siamese markings on his nose, wing tips and paws. He snapped his teeth angrily at one of the candidates who innocently walked by and though Vennom knew he'd regret this he yelled out to the dragon to stop, calling him by name or part of it. "Zixy! Woah buddy!" He jumped back as the dragon turned his wrath on the fledging vampire.
Don't call me ZIXY! He roared mentally taking a few steps towards him. My name is Zixionnoixaith! If you insist on shortening it, Vennom, make it Zixion'... He growled walking straight at him wings flared out and head low to the ground.
" Zixionnoixaith!" Vennom said standing his ground as the dragon walked towards him. "I meant not to offend." But he watched slowly as the dragon's eyes turned from red to a mix of purple and pink was it? He had spent time enough with Succubith to know that meant hunger. "amen to that. I need to eat to.."

As Vennom walked back up from the feeding tables to find Corvia his lips stained red from draining the blood from a few of the pieces of meat laid away for " Zixion' ". he felt stupid, he had grown to rather love the hunt and kill of prey but it was the way it must be done, he guessed, because he had sworn to Sargon, that suspicious immortal with the yellow eyes he wouldn't. He glanced down at the angry Siamese red, his new bond and fast friend. He turned out to be twice as loyal as Corvia's Succubith, but twice as blood thirsty.
Yes? The dragon asked him catching his gaze looking up with fierce almost permanent red tinted eyes then continued on with his awkward stride. He walked like a lion, or some beast of it's manner head low to the ground, feet moving swiftly eyes constantly searching for one who can dare live up to his superiority.
"Be nice to Succubith she'll kick your ass if you don't." Vennom said watching as his lady and her bond made there way towards them. He instinctively stopped, sensing something in the air, fear he thought it to be at first but it turned out to be more like concern. Zixion' plopped down besides his bond pulling himself into more or less a sitting position and flaring out his freshly dried wings so that the sun bounced of their blood-red white snow faked membranes.
Succubith was first to arrive she lead the way with utmost royalty that of only a true dark queen could muster. Her stride was royal everything about her seemed to be royal, except for her nasty attitude. She walked with head held high wings crossed elegantly across her back and tail never once lashing back and forth, she had shared with Corvia the way she said it made her fellow dragonesses look like the common hussy. Corvia found this rather funny, though she'd never tell her blood moon queen that. Red-yellow-orange eyes scanned Zixionnoixaith up and down waiting for her bond to stride up behind her. Vennom felt Zixion' tense glaring back at the queen with the same blood-red eyes. He'll work. Was all Succubith said before sliding herself elegantly up to Corvia's side.
Corvia smiled at Vennom her crimson lips glinting more scarlet than usual, Vennom prayed that if she had killed she had done it elsewhere. After the incident with the chef. "I like him. He's fierce and fierce dragons make good sires." She said reaching a hand down to pet the siamese's head.
Zixionnoixaith snapped his fangs at her and before he could advance Succubith had one paw pressed to his throat claws outstretched. Tell her to keep her bloody hands away from me. I'm not a kitten. Zixion' growled shaking off the blood-moon.
Vennom blinked, he had never seen a dragon shake off his lady's bond, never and she had encountered quite a few. Though Succubith was only just a hatching she was tough. "Um yeah he is fierce. But I think those two might need some time to get used to each other before...you know." Vennom grinned wickedly.
Corvia rolled her eyes. "Their only just youngens. " she said watching Zixionnoixaith with cold eyes. She turned her back and stalked off with Succubith on her heels. "We need to talk to Sargon Vennom he said something about wanting us to come back to Azon. "
I don't like them c'mon let's get out of here! Zixionnoixaith said turning and making like he was about to run. Vennom glanced at him curioiusly. He stopped and replaced his paw on the ground dancing off towards the blood-moon and blood-huntress. Just kidding I don't like that snot-ball stuck up little queen but hey...she is a queen most of my brothers won't be able to do that good. He snickered whilst Vennom rolled his blue eyes shaking his head. What a life, What a life his world had become.
***
"Zixy" was growing as the days went by, he had officially become a weyrling the day before yesterday, Succubith being older had been a weyrling for almost a month already and she wouldn't let the Siamese forget it. They were currently living in the same royally decorated apartment Corvia had before all of this had happened, and they found it quite nice though the dragons would soon be too big to keep inside and they'd have to find a bigger place to stay.
Zixion' crawled through the halls in the slinky way he did, head low red tinged eyes glaring from side to side as if something were to sneak up behind and him and try to scare him, he'd turn and meet it full force. He was an evil one, but not by blood, Damuth and Faith were both pure dragons, though Faith's attitude needed some adjusting. Stalking up behind his bond's red cloaked girlfriend he stopped unfurling his wings completely and mentally roaring at her: Tell that sorry excuse of yours for a queen to get her lazy ass off of my bedding! he snarled clamping his teeth together as Corvia whirled on him.
" Zixionnoixaith!" She said baring her own fangs. "I suggest that you never sneak up on me like that when I'm in a room with sharp objects again!" She bellowed back unphased by the Siamese's ferocity.
Tell her or I swear I'll rip her in two. He snarled not backing down. Vennom calmly sitting in the other room watching this scene in the kitchen arose to his feet and put himself between the two so quickly not even a full fledged vampire could have matched his speed. He had learned form the best, and he had learned well almost to well. VENNOM! Zixion' said backing down from his readied strike turning on heels like a tiger and readying himself again. Stand down!
" Zixionnoixaith, she may annoy the crap out of you but if you dare to even slice that blood moon in two you'll have me to worry about." Vennom snarled knowing his dragon wouldn't dare think of harming someone when he had a say in it. Zixionnoixaith was fierce, but he was loyal to his bond, and wouldn't dare cross certain pre-set lines.
Corvia stuck out her tongue from behind her chosen giggling evilly, he had become exactly what she had wanted him to become, evil and ruthless but there was still something loyal and caring buried beneath his skin. That something she planned to hold onto, for it made great vampires even greater. Emotion was the key to mortal hearts....but detachment was the loss of emotions. Vennom was locked in the limbo world of a vampire, but something still human of him remained for he had not become totally detached for he could still love and feel loyalty to Corvia, he was still safe. "Succubith! Oh dearest!" Corvia called out to her bond and seconds later watched her enter the room with the most royalty she could muster.
Zixionnoixaith growled low in his throat sitting down next to Vennom, his head towering now above his bond's shoulders cracking his knuckles threateningly as he eyed the blood moon. She was like a disease, she held you in awe with her beauty and everything seemed to spin when you looked at her but before you knew it you began to fell sick form all the spinning. That's when you came crashing back into reality and realized that beneath the innocent blood red black gold shell their lurked something sinister and evil.
"Tell Zixy that your sorry for begin a bed hog and I'll give you your supper." Coriva said while cutting up chunks of cow flesh, at least the matinees of the hotel hadn't complained about Vennom and Corvia's lack of food enthusiasm, a dead give away to vampirism. If they ever found out that two vampires lived in their apartment, the vamps would be kicked out faster than one can sneeze.
Succubith glanced up with red-orange-yellow eyes, she loved her bond more than she loved herself but she would not bring herself to that level. She had liked the Siamese, oh how she had liked him from the first day she had seen him, he was sinister and devious and cunning. Thinking of this sent draconic shivers down her spine, he would be fit for her and her alone but she had to teach him his place. Showing a lack of interest in him didn't give him the slightest hint of her feelings towards him and it kept him at bay, no need to have him chasing after her before it was her turn to fly. She slunk up in front of him rubbing her side across his underbelly as he sat portraying draconic disgust on his red pointed face. Underneath she could read something else, was it surprise? No, it was delight. Maybe his act was as good as hers.
Corvia blinked, she knew of her dragon's plans to keep Zixy off her tail until it was time but she had never thought that Succubith to be the flirt she was. Are you insane you little flirt? she asked mentally not to give away her queen's intentions.
No, but one must present one's self to him sometimes, I must draw in my prey before I make the kill. That's the first thing you taught me Corvia. The blood moon responded walking gracefully back out and into the living room part of the apartment curling up into a neat ball besides the recliner were Corvia would soon come to sit.
"Naughty.." Corvia muttered casting her glanced back on Vennom who was looking just as stunned as Zixon' was feeling. Corvia grinned and slipped her arms around her chosen's neck drawing him into a vampirac kiss.
Ecccccck... Zixionnoixaith muttered mentally to his bond as he exited the room sitting on the opposite side of the living room watching the blood-moon with one half closed eye while Vennom allowed Corvia to pull him into a PG 13 lip lock.
They should get a room. Succubith muttered sending mental giggles to the Siamese marked white.
Funny, they do have a room... Zixionnoixaith responded laughing wickedly to himself.
***
Days turned to weeks and weeks to months and though Vennom hardly noticed it, his two colored beast had grown again, this time to his final stage. He had passed from fledging to adult with ease and now stood in front of his bond in all the glory of his father an mother, all the glory that a mud and blood covered dragon could muster. Pieces of white shown brightly against crimson and at his forepaws it was hard to tell which was skin and which wasn't for the dragon had been out hunting, hunting for almost an hour. Vennom stood before his dragon, red cloak hanging over one shoulder and a fresh line of crimson drizzling down one cheek, light eyes flashing dangerously and color in his long dead cheeks. "Ah my friend you have been successful also?" Vennom laughed watching the large Siamese dragon out of the corner of his eye, as he came to a halt.
I believe, the beasts would sat otherwise but I am full for the moment. How is the blood moon and that b—lady of yours? the red marked white's deep and snake like voice slithered into Vennom's mind, with a tone of disgust as he searched around for the hint of another draconic beast.
"Corvia is still at the apartment, and the blood moon is standing besides you." Vennom said, rolling his eyes at the Siamese as he realized his bond's partner was using one of her magic abilities; cloaking.
You ruin all my fun Vennom. Succubith spat revealing herself to the two and stepping off to the side avoiding the flurry's paw as he swung it at her head. She had grown also, and she was large, very large, if Zixion hadn't been the son of a fire lancer then he would have had trouble with the queen's size. He would have been picked on to death by now. Look to your left Vennom you idiot. She snapped mentally sweet and sour voice like Chinese fried chicken, bearable but not preferable.
Corvia moved from with in the shadows waltzing over and latching onto Vennom's arm watching him with satisfaction in her eyes, she had done well, he had done well. Her goal was accomplished she now had 2 things of her attraction, well two and a half, she liked Zixon sometimes., when he was good. Sucubith was as wonderful, beautiful, deadly and bloody thirsty as any other queen of death, but she was something else also, was it caring? She cared deeply for Corvia, the vampiress thought but perhaps she cared for the one of her own kind to, she cared for Zixion and he for her, rather they admit it or not.
She sighed, nuzzling her face into Vennom's shoulder and closing her eyes, Succubith had promised that upon adult hood she would tell Zixionnoixaith her feels, that she would finally admit that there was a heart deep within that three toned black-red-gold body. It had been about a month since the dragons were considered adults. "What's wrong?" Vennom asked, his vamparic senses had become greatly attuned. Sure any vampire can read a mortal's feeling as if they were an open book, but reading another vampire's feelings was a hard thing to muster. Vampires are usually great at hiding all feelings and thoughts, and Corvia was one of the best at it.
"It's Succubith love, she is puzzling to me." Corvia said trying not to raise her voice loud enough for the dragons to hear, they were squawking at each other... again. It seemed all they ever did was fight, there was nothing between them but hate, anyone could see it. "I fear when it comes time for her to fly...she will rather die than have Zixionnoixaith bring her down."
Vennom sighed sharing her pain, this was a complicated situation they found themselves sin alright. "You speak truly, Succubith glows more each day, as if her soul is trying to escape through her hide. Zixionnoixaith grows restless...." Vennom said while staring at the two quarrelsome dragons his voice distant, it seemed he had become slightly more detached in the last minute or so.
It was expected of course, when vampires are hungry they are closer to be human then ever, and when they are freshly fed they feel more detached then their normal state. Coriva blinked. "what do you mean restless? Does he want Succubith to go get caught by another male?"
"Quit the opposite I assure you if truth be told though he'd slaughter me if he ever found out what I am saying. He likes her a lot Corvia, a whole lot. Ever notice how defensive he is when we have to go into town?" Vennom said casting silvery blue eyes onto Corvia's deep chocolate ones.
she nodded, remembering heir last effort to mess with a mortal's mind, that had been interesting. Zixionnoixaith had almost slaughtered a blue for looking at Succubith, poor blue. Zix later blamed it on a muscle spasm. Yeah sure, the blue needed stitches after taking a whip lashing form Zixion's crimson stained tail. "Succubith does like him. .can't you see her flirting?"
"she flirts with anything male that moves." Vennom sneered a cold grin spreading over his flushed cheeks.
"No I mean she's really flirting. There's a certain degree of flirtation you have to assume to claim a man on the market. Right now this is a make a move and die flirtation level." Corvia said curling her arm tighter around Vennom's and resting her head on his shoulder.
"Ah I see. And what is the level that you are portraying?" Vennom laughed, the blood of his victim making him a bit loopy, it always made him like this; weird actually. First he was calm and detached then loopy and rather.. playful.
"Touch him and feel the death of a thousands deaths because I will tie you to a rock and curse you so you live every day to die again like Prometheus, only I will have a dragon eat out your heart." Coriva explained simply getting a laugh from Vennom and sharing in one herself. Both dragons turned to look at their bonds, wondering if they joke was on them.
Vennom raised an eyebrow and Succubith turned back to Zixion whacking him on the head with a gold black paw. Yeouch! You draconic bitch! The Siamese snapped pouncing on the blood moon and sending her toppling down the hillside, as he quickly followed.
"I have a plan." Coriva said the slap on the head reminding her of Zixion and Sucubith's first meeting, back in the halls of Ryslen. "We will send Zixy back to Ryslen to chase a female, Win or loose it will prove to both dragons that there can only be the other in their life and I do think Zix would like the chance to make the blood moon jealous."
"Ahh...good idea....but in mating flights don't the riders have to well...-" Vennom squirmed feeling a bit uncomfortable, even in his detachment he still had little maturity on some subjects.
"Do whatever you must, I know you will remain loyal to me. But don't kill her or do anything stupid like that. Tiyanni and everyone there knows you’re a vampire, if you make a move they'll have you in a heartbeat. " Coriva explained, knowing that Vennom was still as fiercely loyal as his blood Siamese beast. "Zixy, Succubith c'mon over here we're taking a trip back to Rylsen."
What? Why? I don't want to go back to that smelly hole in the ground! Succubith complained jumping nimbly to avoid Zixon's wing as he slashed it at her.
Watch your mouth hussy, no matter how smelly, Ryslen is still my birth place! Zix shot back, lowering an arm for Vennom to climb up onto. so why are we going back? He asked his rider privately as Vennom made himself comfortable in-between blood red tipped white wings.
"Your chasing a female. No questions asked." Vennom said simply and readied himself for the cold sting of between.
