2006 Schedule-Playoff Rules

Regular Season

The league consists of 14 teams and the regular season consists of 13 games.  One game per week during weeks 1-13 of the NFL season.  Each week, each team will play a head-to-head game against a different team in the league.  (Round robin.)

Ties

There will be no tiebreakers for the result of a regular-season game, the tie will stand.

Playoffs

Qualifiers

The top 8 teams in the regular season qualify for the playoffs.  The tiebreakers are as follows:

1. Best record

2. Most points scored during the entire season.

3. Most points scored in a single game during the season.

4. Most points scored against during the entire season.

5. Head to head.

6. Coin flip.

Format

Typical 8-team single-elimination playoff bracket (1v8, 2v7, etc), during weeks 14-16 of the NFL season.  There will be no official consolation games (i.e. semifinal losers for 3rd place).

Tie Games

There will be no ties in the playoffs.  If a playoff game is tied the tiebreakers will be applied as follows:

1. Highest-scoring bench (all benched players).

2. Highest seed.
