The
class 10E series is a fairly common loco, along with the 6E derivatives.
Three different sub types of the 10E is used (10E, 10E1, 10E2). As far
as I am aware most of the changes were motor and gear related, there are
few external visible distinctions, apart from the pantographs and the cab
roof that is very slightly different. The class 10Es are all 3000V
DC locos. Following is a little comparison of the different types,
and series.
