Class 18E Electric Loco

The class 18E is a rebuild of the Class 6E1 locos.  For that reason, the outside looks very similar.  Main differences between 6E1 and 18E units include additional grilles and vents, bogie details and the cab on the one end has no  windows.  This is to accomodate female drivers by supplying full toilet facilities on the loco.  The electronics and electrical systems have all been upgraded.  Also in the upgrade is the great new Corporate colors and the new Spoornet logo.
