Approximately 1 year since thinking I might set a blog up, no one seems interested (including me). Aren't blogs sort of voyeuristic really? I mean, why would people all over the world care to hear about my financial troubles or health issues or my child's latest report card? If you're my friend wouldn't you already know these things? And if you're not my friend, why would they matter to you? I know... maybe I can use the blog as a fundraising effort (speaking of financial issues!). Let's say I need to raise about $10,000, because I want to buy a new home. Do you care enough about my "plight as a single parent who works full time, goes to school part time, and is just trying to live the American dream" to donate to my cause? Oh, how I hope you do! Let the donations begin!
