As I am called the Senshi of Destruction and Rebirth, it is only proper that I introduce you to the most tragic death scenes found in all six season. I don't intend to talk about my deaths for they are described in other parts of this shrine.

A very long time ago, the Silver Millennium, the beautiful Moon Kingdom was destroyed by the evil entity called Metallia. She killed all the Inner Senshi with one single blast of dark energy and her black lightnings struck also the beautiful Moon Princess Serenity and her love, Prince Endymion, who were both floating in the sky. Their hands were about to touch when the energy bolt hit them. They screamed and died, their lifeless bodies still drifting in the dark storm. Tears, shining like precious glowing pearls, dropped out of the eyes of the dead Princess as if she was still alive and crying.
Her mother, Moon Queen Serenity, had to watch this tragedy from the ground, losing all hope and the will to survive this disaster. Her only wish was to punish the murderer of her beloved daughter and therefore she sacrificed her own life using the full power of the Ginzuishou. Leaning heavily against a broken pillar, symbol of her destroyed kingdom, she knew that her life was about to end. She did not cry any more, she was calm and died with dignity, using  her last bit of power to ensure that all inhabitants of the moon got a second life on earth. She even wished peace and happiness for the planet of which people had been responsible for her pain and suffering.

Nephrite's death was especially painful because he had just begun to learn that there is more to life than just following Beryl's orders and stealing people's energy. He suffered a lot with this bunch of long thorns stuck in his shoulder sucking out his  own energy. The shocked Naru tried her very best to pull  them out of him but she was too weak. When his tortured body could not bear any more pain, he simply vanished, and all what remained was a piece of cloth and glowing sparks that flew up to the sky like a group of fireflies.

In contrast to Nephrite neither Zoisite nor Kunzite showed any sign of turning good, but their deaths were tragic too.
Zoisite knew that he had failed to obey Beryl's orders and he knew that it was his fault that Princess Serenity was awaken. All the time he had been jealous because Kunzite seemed to do everything for Beryl. But when Zoisite stood in front of Beryl's throne, asking for a very last chance to fix his mistakes, Kunzite was at his side and supported him. It was in vain, Beryl blasted Zoisite and Kunzite could do nothing more than acknowledging that this was the proper punishments for losers and traitors. Alone with the dying Zoisite, he apologized for not stopping Beryl. Zoisite forgave him and asked him to grant one last wish: He wanted to die pretty. Kunzite used his powers and created the illusion of a field of flowers. Zoisite thanked him and died, changed into  floating petals which vanished.
Kunzite did not live much longer. He fought his last fight against the senshi when they discovered the entrance to the Dark Kingdom. His attempted to get the Ginzuishou failed, he tried to kill the Princess but the  Inner Senshi protected her, Sailormoon herself killed him by reflecting one of his energy blades so that it flew back to him. He did not even try to dodge, he died shouting Zoisite's name ....

The way the four Inner Senshi laid down her life at the North Pole was definitely heroic and tragic at the same time. The youma caught them one after the other wrapped their vines around them and tortured them with black energy. Being really tough they all found time to say some touching last words to those who were left behind before they passed away. Their bruised bodies were laying on the spiky ice monuments until the energy of the Ginzuishou swallowed them.
Lonely, scared but with the power of a true princess, Sailormoon continued her fight. After she had lost her best friends, she also lost her love, Mamoru/Endymion. His death happened just after he had been healed by her love. The black stone spear hit him in the back and he died, touching the face of his beloved, telling her that she should not cry. Sailormoon was in shock, she kept talking to his body as if he was still alive, asking him not to go away. She left the collapsing cave, fought her last battle, won and then it was her turn to die, it was no surprise because she had followed the example of her mother, the Moon Queen, and she had also known the price for using the Ginzuishou's full power. Princess Serenity changed back into Sailormoon while falling down on the ice, her face was calm and she smiled, she thanked her friends who had helped her and then she died.

Ann's death was a rather short one but tragic nevertheless for she sacrificed herself in order to protect her beloved Ail. The one who killed her was not an evil villain but her own "mother", the Makaiju Tree. The tree did not want to harm her but tried desperately to tell his children about the power he really needs, the power of love ....

Safir, the brother of Prince Demando knew very well what risk he took when he tried to stop Wiseman. He was already hurt and had just found out that Petz really cared for him when the went to warn his brother, knowing that he would not survive a second confrontation with Wiseman. And so it happened, Wiseman appeared and blasted Safir two times. He screamed, collapsed and died, his shocked brother takes his body with him and disappears.
