Introduction to Panjabi

Panjabi is a phonetically correct language, this basically means you say it how you see it. There are no silent vowels or consonants, as in English.

Possibly, the easiest way to learn to read Panjabi, is to learn one line from the alphabet a day.

This means being able to write over and over again each character without having to look it up. You should also be able to recall each characters 'name' fluently.

If by the next day you feel you know the previous days line fully then proceed to the next line. But don't forget, after three days, or so, you should be able to recall 3 full lines before you can go on to the fourth. Good Luck!!!!!
