VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Please consider donating a few hours of your time to help us out at the Shelter. We need people to provide exercise, socialization, as well as grooming to the Shelter dogs and puppies.  We also need someone to help with light building and grounds maintenance. If you are interested in helping out and would like to find out more about volunteering your time,  please go to our SOS table at the Petsmart in Cline, Iowa on weekend adoption days and ask for information.  Your help is needed, and will be appreciated very much.

Save Our Strays, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization. Since our income is minimal, we use all funds to pay for food, vet care, and other expenses incurred with running the sanctuary. We need volunteers to help clean cages and walk the animals on adoption days at the PetsMart in Clive, Iowa. This allows those who do the adoptions to be free to help those who are interested in adopting. Having clean cages and clean, happy dogs helps to make them more presentable for adoption.

Any one can be a volunteer. However, those people under the age of 18 must have parental consent.
