As If

An expression used to show contemptuous disbelief.
Used by repeating the other person's statement as a
question, followed by "as if." Example:
"Joey asked YOU to the prom? As if!"

Awesome

A word that means something similar to incredible
unbelievable, amazing

Bitchin'

a slang term used to convey that something was really good

- C -

Choke

A term indicating utter failure, especially when
it was very important to be successful. Example:
"Like, dude! That quarterback totally choked on that last play!

Dude

A multi purpose word that can be used as a way to call attention:
"Dude! did you see that?"
A means of checking if someone is there, or as a term of concern
"Dude?"
An exclaimation used to call attention to someone's foul-up,
said while grinning and shaking the head from side-to-side:
"Duuuuuuude!!!"

Dweeb

Used to describe a socially awkward person.

to be great, or even better than
often shouted instead of spoken

Geek

Used to describe the most socially awkward individuals.
From a carnival term used to describe a performer whose
act consisted of biting the head off a chicken.

Gnarly

From the word gnarled
a slang term to describe a something that is "rough around the edges" or difficult

Used to describe an extremely attractive or sexy girl i.e "She's hot!!"

Like

In the 80's, "like" did not indicate similarity or affection.
It was used as a word of emphasis or as filler:
"Like, did you see, like, Ronny? He like totally looked so hot!"

Motor

Verb meaning to leave from someplace quickly
example: "i've got to motor if I want to make it to that party."

Party

A verb meaning to go a party (noun) and engage in party activities

queer

A derogatory term meaning meaning that someone was either extremely strange or homosexual

Rad

From the word radical
meant that something was really great and different at the sane time
a word used by surfers and skaters(see skaters) to refer to how amazing a certain trick (see trick) was (based on difficulty)

Skater

An avid skateboarder. A Person who skateboarded. Skateboarding was extremely popular in 1985 due to the movie Back to the future that starred Michael J Fox of "Family Ties" fame.

Totally

A term of emphasis indicating a superlative:
"We like, totally saw that movie!"
Trick

An amazing feat done on either a bicycle or a skateboard. Called so because until someone actually succeeded, it is believed to be impossible to do.
