It was also stated that he has never really left music, only worked behind the scenes, as a producer.

Tommy Tutone left music after his mega-hit "867-5309/Jenny" to become a schoolteacher somewhere in California...That's all that is known at this time.

Falco, who scored hits with "Rock Me Amadeus" and "Der Komissar," died in a car crash in the Dominican Republic in 1998.

Patty Donahue, lead singer for the Waitresses ("I Know What Boys Like" and "Square Pegs") died of cancer in 1998.

Gary Numan, whose biggest hit was "Cars," was a pilot, and put out a new CD and toured in 1998.
