Dragonball Loser

Chapter 2: ‘O’ is opportunity

After so long…I have finally come back to take what is mine…

“Show yourself!” Vegeta growled not liking the fact that he couldn’t see who was threatening him.

The floor rumbled again. “Oh! Looks like there’s an earthquake!” Mrs. Briefs giggled.

A girl appeared in the room. She didn’t look strong, slightly under 5 feet. There were no signs indicating that she had ever fought in a battle. She had blond hair tied in a long braid that reached her waist, and piercing purple eyes. She looked human. She was wearing armor that resembled the saiyan armor but in purple.

“Wow, she is quite the looker…” Yamucha thought aloud.

“Nice of you to have such a nice welcoming party for me.” She said laughing.

“Who are you and what are you doing here!” Piccolo said.

She raised up her hands. “You’ll find out soon enough!”

The floor rumbled again. Slowly their surrounding changed. They were in a dark room with little decoration except for a portrait of a man. “That’s better,” the girl said. “Now to take care of you!”

Bulma, Yamucha and Krillen ran up in front. “You’ll have to get through us first!” Yamucha said.

            “Yeah!” Bulma and Krillen resounded.

The girl giggled tossing her braid. “I’m here for the Z fighters…not their groupies…”

            “Groupies?!” Yamucha stammered.

“Hey! We’re Z fighters too…well at least Krillen and Yamucha are anyways…but we help too!” Bulma said.

The girl raised out a hand to them. “Oh well, I guess I’ll have take you with me…” she said.

A bright light flashed from her hand and everything went black.

*          *          *          *          *

“What happened?” Bulma said getting up groggily.

“They’re gone…they left us!!” Yamucha said. “Just typical!”

Krillen shook his head. “I saw what happened; Goku, Vegeta and Gohan pushed us out of the way.”

“Oh that’s just like them,” Bulma said looking around. “We’re outside…”

The three looked at what used to be the Capsule Corps Building. It was now a huge black castle with signs carved all over it. “Damn…” was all Yamucha could said.

The whole area was deserted. Everyone had left after they’d felt the earthquake. “This is really weird you guys…” Bulma said.

“Yeah…and I don’t sense Goku and the other guys at all…” Krillen said looking around.

            “That’s…not good right?” Bulma said.

Yamucha nodded. “That means…they either hid it from everyone…or they’re…dead.”

Bulma shook her head. “No, Vegeta’s not dead. I can’t explain it but I would know if he was dead…but what are we going to do?”

Yamucha stuck out his chest. “Save them of course! This is our chance to prove ourselves!”

Krillen shrugged. “Yeah but we suck…” he said. “And if that girl could defeat all the Z fighters like that…then I don’t see how we’re going to win anything…”

“We have to try!” Yamucha said.

“No, I have to go home.” Krillen said. “Tell Master Roshi what happened.”

“I should go too.” Bulma said. “Considering I don’t have a house anymore…”

Yamucha looked betrayed. “Come on!” he insisted. “We have to watch for signs of activity in there!”

“You can watch,” Bulma said taking out a capsule. “Me and Krillen are going.”

She threw it to the ground and a helicopter appear. “Hop in!” she said to Krillen.

Krillen looked back at Yamucha. “I’m sorry but you’re right.”

*          *          *          *          *

In the center of the castle that was now occupying the Capsule Corp property. The man from the portrait was waiting impatiently. “Roni!” he yelled.

“Yes Lord Chovie,” Roni appeared suddenly in the throne room in a kneeled position.

Lord Chovie nodded and Roni stood up. “Have you gotten them?” he asked.

“Yes,” Roni made a little sign with her hands.

A bunch of spheres containing Z warriors were there. Goku, Gohan, Goten, Trunks, Vegeta, #18, Piccolo, Videl. They were all there but they were not moving. They appeared to be in comas. “Good, very good…now commence the operation.”

“Yes, my Lord” she said and disappeared.

*          *          *          *          *

“Where’s my wife!” Krillen demanded of Master Roshi.

“I don’t know…she was here one moment, then she just disappeared!”

Maron clinged on to Krillen’s leg. “I want Mommy, Daddy!” she sobbed.

Krillen pat Maron on the head. “Daddy, wants Mommy too dear.” He said.

“It seems,” Bulma spoke up. “That she was also kidnapped like all the other Z fighters…”

“You’re right! We have to get them out of there!” Krillen said deep in thought. “But how…we can’t do it by ourselves…”

Bulma and Krillen thought for a while. Suddenly Bulma snapped her fingers. “I’ve got it! What if we find some of the old people who used to fight with us!”

“Like Tien and Chaotsu?” Krillen asked.

“Yeah! Maybe…we might have a chance!” Bulma said brightening up. “Lets go tell Yamucha!”

*          *          *          *          *

            “998…999….1000…1001…” Yamucha was bored.

Nothing had happened since the girl came and Yamucha was staying true to what he had said about waiting until the enemy did something next. But counting clouds had lost its appeal long time ago and Yamucha was about to go crazy.

“Damn! Lost count!” he grumbled. “1…2…3…4…5—huh?” The rumbling started again.

This time it was huge and Yamucha fell over on the ground. He watched in horror as all the building surrounding the castle disappeared. The rumbling stopped and Yamucha went to his feet. “Whoa…this might be harder than I thought…”

“Yamucha! Yamucha!” Krillen and Bulma were running up to him. “We saw it all!” Krillen said.

            “I can’t believe it…” Bulma said.

“You’ve decided to watch with me?” Yamucha asked.

Bulma shook her head. “Nope! We have an idea…we are going to get all the old fighters back!”

“Like Tien and Chaotsu!” Krillen said. “This is mondo cool!” (sorry just had to put that there…)

“I thought Tien doesn’t fight anymore…” Yamucha said.

“We’ll make him fight!” Bulma said. “He has to!”

Yamucha shrugged. “Okay…but where is he?”

Bulma and Krillen both had a blank expression on their face. “Don’t you know?” Bulma asked Krillen.

            Krillen shook his head. “No…”

“Do we know anyone who knows Tien?” Yamucha asked.

            “Lunch!” Krillen exclaimed.

Bulma sighed. “This is not the time to be thinking about food Krillen!”

“No, I mean Lunch!” Krillen said.

“Oh! Her!  She lived with Tien right?” Bulma said getting the point.

“Lunch…I haven’t seen her in a long time!” Yamucha mused.

“She did live with him, but I think they broke up!” Bulma said. “Well that counts her out…”

“We should still look for her,” Krillen said. “We could use her help too…even if it means dealing with her…other self.”

A loud gurgling sound interrupted Krillen. “Oh no! Another earthquake!” Bulma went down covering herself.

Yamucha was red. “It’s my stomach…I’m hungry, lets go eat before we start this!”

Bulma got up her dignity a little bruised but she was okay. “Fine, lets go!”
