I come home and light an inscense
beat like street fights thats intense
to me this world is a life sentence
and then you die
While some continue life as misfits
young niggaz bad slash tires as mischief
many others pursue their dreams to get rich
some become leaders some stay an apprentice
many work for the man as hard as they can
some live in homeless land no one opens their hand
to give change, no ones really makin a change
presidents promise peace yet we still waitin for change
It’s hard for man to fathom problems can’t be solved by man
drugs, death, poverty its all from man
maybe its a good thing they took us off our land
but maybe not we might have been a stronger land
many nights I lay down and think long and hard
on not the extra, but how to go the longest yard
because extra isn't always enough,
you gotta do better in life
to get ahead in this life
now I can, worship God and serve him
or I can cop, these caps and serve them
fiends
or rock these raps and freak shows
or
cock these gats and freak hoes
get my wrist froze
have these cats like “how’d he do it”
or get a ill job after all I’m an A accounting student
so many things all on my mind
gotta get em off of my mind
hopefully, all in due time
thats why I hope that the end come soon
but soon enough for me to get my life straight
