Step Back From Reality: Season II -- Judge's Application Rules
1)You may still judge a category even if you are nominated for one or more awards. However, you may not judge a category you are nominated in.
2)Each judge will judge the stories in their category(s) and fill out an 'Author's Judge Sheet'. To see an example of what the 'Author's Judge Sheet' will look like, click here. (All 'Author's Judge Sheets' will be sent to the individual authors after the winners have been announced. Authors who do not win an award will also recieve their 'Judge Sheet'. Names of judges will not be released to the authors. So, please, DON'T ASK.).
3)Only apply to be a judge if you know for sure that you can be reliable with reading and filling out the 'Author's Judge Sheets' in the category(s) you are assigned to. We do not need our time to be wasted by people who apply and then don't live up to what they applied for.
4)Where it says "Been spendin' most our lives..." on the application form, type "Livin' in a gangsta's paradise" so that we know you have read the rules and understand them. This MUST be followed or your application will NOT be counted. We will NOT HESITATE to delete your application if this rule is not followed.
