Step Back From Reality: Season II -- Rules

1)All stories must contain at least ONE Backstreet Boy as the main character.

2)All stories must be published somewhere on the internet prior to being nominated.

3)Stories are not required to be complete upon nomination, but must be long enough to develop a reasonable plot (*note* This does not apply to stories being nominated for "Best Short Story").

4)No visuals accepted. However, stories containing such scenes within are ok, but the story MUST contain a plot outside of sex, otherwise it will be considered a visual and will not be eligible for a nominee position.

5)No slash stories will be accepted as there is no slash related content (m/m relationships) allowed on Step Back From Reality.

6)No stories authored/co-authored by the 3 Crazy Blonde Sisters (Ashley, Stephanie, Ana) are eligible for any nominee position/award. This also applies to any of their collaborated stories.

7)Authors may nominate their own stories.

8)Any ONE author may have up to TWO of their stories nominated. Each story can be nominated in up to THREE categories. However, the two stories MAY NOT be nominated in the same category. ('Best Author/Best Unrecognized Author', 'Best Story/Best Unrecognized Story', 'Best BSB Fan Fiction Site/Best Unrecognized BSB Fan Fiction Site', 'Most Creative BSB Fan Fiction Site Name' do not fall under the 3 category limit)

9)An author may NOT be nominated for both "Best Author" and "Best Unrecognized Author".

10)A story may NOT be nominated for both "Best Story" and "Best Unrecognized Story".

11)A site may NOT be nominated for both "Best Backstreet Fan Fiction Site" and "Best Unrecognized Backstreet Fan Fiction Site".

12)If you won an award during last season's awards, you are not eligible for nomination in the same category this season.

13)To keep your nomination spot, you must have a 'code' pic placed on the site your story is posted. You will have three days after notification of nomination to get your 'code' up. (It also helps for reminding your readers to vote for you!:) *Note* For those of you who only have their stories posted on Absolute Chaos, please post a simple mention on your profile page about your nomination, to substitute having to post a 'code' pic.

14)Where it says "YOU GET..." on the nomination form, type "THE PICTURE" so that we know you have read the rules and understand them. This must be followed or your nomination will NOT be counted.
