Our opinion: The above quote was taken directly off the back of the Baldurs Gate 2 Shadows of Amn box and every word of it is true in the game itself. You find youreself taking on the role as a daring knight, a cunning mage, a crafty thief, or even a brute half-orc. This incredible RTS/RPG (real time strategy/role playing game) game takes place in a time period known as the Forgotten Realms where the world is ruled by chaos and power hungry creatures of mass destruction.
You will receive an overhead view with realistic graphics not to be triffled with. One incredible feature about this game is the enormous and well designed world in which it takes place. Hundreds of weapons and armor types to choose from. Online multiplayer compatibility where you can ally with friends across the world.
In our opinion there are few cons to this game aside from the slow loading times which can become an annoyance over long periods of gameplay. But that is one of the games biggest pros... it's extremely lllllllloooooooonnnnnnnnggggggggg storyline and complicated character construction.
All and all it is a fantastic game and definately worth the $30.00 price tag. It also is well known among various gaming sites for it's success with winning The Game of the Year Award.
