Cinema
I was walking to the movies with my friends this afternoon,
Hoping something good had started real soon,
High hopes and praise all resting on a dream,
I wanna see something new on the silver screen,
Popcorn crunching beneath my feet
The kid behind me's kicking the back of my seat
Nothing matters like looks or appearance
It's all part of the movie experience
I walk in the theatre head held so very high...
I may leave the theatre laughing or  perhaps I'll cry.
Silence in the theatre the smoking signs have turned on
Is he honest or is it all a con?
Popcorn crunching beneath my feet
The kid behind me's kicking the back of my seat
Nothing matters like looks or appearence
It's all part of the movie experience
Snack bar line streches way out the door...
Will he wind up rich or perhaps poor?
I cry when the credits role and they play a cinematic song...
That's it I guess now, so so long...
