randy spelling
Born in Los Angeles into one of Hollywood's most prominent television families, 18-year-old Randy Spelling, a recent high school graduate, remains incredibly grounded and humble about his surroundings. He explains: "My parents instilled so many morals in me when I was growing up that I've always felt very thankful for everything I have." The son of Candy and Aaron Spelling and younger brother to "Beverly Hills, 90210" star Tori, Spelling grew up around some of Hollywood's most influential people, but insists that he's "a real down-to-earth person. I'm straight up and when I meet people, they sense that." Although he had an interest in television production, Spelling never considered a career in acting until he landed a bit part on "Beverly Hills, 90210" a few years ago. Having enjoyed the experience, he began taking acting lessons and captured a role on the NBC/Spelling prime-time series "Malibu Shores." He later returned to "90210" in the part of the trouble-making stepbrother of Steve (Ian Ziering), a role completely opposite from his "Malibu Shores" character.
With plans to attend college, Spelling devotes much of his free time to a hobby which has become a passion: music. He sings and writes lyrics for hip-hop and rap music and also uses his camcorder to produce music videos with his friends.
A surprisingly typical teenager, Spelling enjoys writing poetry, attending concerts, participating in sports such as tennis, basketball and volleyball, hanging out with friends, being at home with his family and just being a "regular" guy.
