Marines use special
codenames for situations and places when speaking over open COMM lines as an added
security measure just in case the line is not secure.
Although this differs from unit to unit,
there are some common ones.

Operation
Procedures: |
|
Blitzkrieg Attack: | Means sweep out anything as fast as you can. Explosives of all kinds is used as well as heavy-weapons. No tactic, no procedure, just cover your team and proceed to sweep. |
Hostage Rescue Ops: | Again the element of surprise should be used. The bandits should be isolated from the angels in some way. To do so, deploying some snipers to take out the actual threats can be used. Or a direct entrance to the scene can work too. Again Special Ops should work to develop the best option. |
Take Over Ops: | In Take Over Ops the element of surprise is often the only advantage the unit has. Therefore using cameras and sensor data to locate the bandits before the actual entrance to the hot field is necessary. The entrance into the hot field should be approached from many directions to have a better angle of view and all deployment should be made with the use of sleeping agents and cover gases. The operation should be under control of Special Ops. |
