Who & What is SCAN??

Scan is a group of divers from member scuba diving clubs, who work together towards furthering recreational scuba diving within New South Wales. This takes place by some of those members holding positions on various Federal and State Government committee's & advisory boards. These currently include: 

RVAG (Recreational Vessel Advisory Group), 

MPAC (Marine Parks Advisory Council)

Scan's current involvement include:

• Booderee National Park Jervis Bay ( Federal)
• Solitary Islands Marine Park
• Pimpernel Rock Marine Park
• Grey Nurse Shark Draft Code of Conduct
• Grey Nurse Shark Draft Recovery Plan & Proposed Critical Habitat 
• Proposed Critical Habitat for the Endangered Little Penguin Population of Manly NSW
