Atheists

In America, Atheists are forced to accept the words “In God We Trust.” These words are forced by the law on everyone to believe in. The words are written on every dollar that Atheists carry. This is both wrong legally and morally since they do not believe in any God. It should be changed so that the tender suits all people’s beliefs.

Many Americans today believe in God and many of the religious freedoms that come with it. That majority of Americans who believe in God cannot force their beliefs on the people who do not believe in it. The people who believe in God are known as Christians, Jews, or Catholics. They believe in God and all of his teachings. We to this day, still do not have any real hard evidence that God or Jesus existed. All we have is stories and books (the Bible and the Torah) that tell us what he did, and the results of it. The church teaches people that this goal of going to “heaven” can be achieved only as a reward for loyalty and obedience. If not, the church threatens the wrath of God on you if you do not obey his teachings. We also have the theory of a “hell” where you are sent if you have done bad things during your life and are punished for all eternity. This is what the Catholic Christian religion teaches and many other aspects of “the son of God,” Jesus. As for society, Atheists are a part of it, and no one can change what someone believes in. If slogans like “In God We Trust” are printed on everyday money, then it should be changed or worded more carefully like “In God Most of us Trust.” That would be making it clearer that we are not forced to believe in God if we do not choose to.

Throughout history, many people were put to death, or hated because of not believing in a god. We today are taught by the Christian church that God does exist and that he was alive. This we do not know for sure. How do we know that he really existed? It can all be a scam, there are no Gods, and it’s all imaginary. Materialism is what compels the faith in us humans and is what makes us think there really is a God. There is no proof of any heaven either; it is all made up. This is what is being taught to young children who don’t know any better and really believe in what they are being told. There is no reality to any of this. No one can say for sure that any of this exists until they have been there and seen it.

Atheists are being discriminated against and hated even to this day, when really only just telling the world how they feel and what they believe in. Just because someone has a different view or opinion about God does not mean that they are to be argued or hated against. We all have our own perspectives about religion and Gods, an Atheist does not believe in a God and that is just the way they are and want to be.
