My attitude about expository writing and feelings as a writer are that I am most confident in creative writing. I do not like writing long essays on topics that I do not like and feel is uninteresting. I feel that this class will benefit me in the long run for college, essays and important writings.

The best work that I have written was in eighth grade. I forget what the essay was about. I remember the teacher loved it. I felt it was my strongest work I have done. I feel my weakness in being a writer is paragraph development. I can gather enough information, but I cannot correctly place the information in the right order to make the say flow. I took this course because I felt it would help me in developing my essays into a work of art. I hope that this class will help me in my weakness in writing and will give me a new perspective and new strategies in developing my essays.

I hope that the class helps me to learn new skills to develop me into a better writer. I know that the class will teach me new ways on how to develop my essays in a way that flows and stays on topic. I have the mentality to improve in my weak points in writing and only get better in everything.
