I fell asleep,
on my own ...
just once to often.
But the stresses
of my day,
soon fazed out,
as thoughts
turned to you.

These feelings I feel,
are like no other
to date that I've felt.
Feel so fantastic
feel like finally
I can be myself.
Open up,
take down that protective shield,
I've had up all these years.

Wonder what you're doing,
you're thinking,
feeling right now.

Love the way,
you make me feel,
when I'm with you.
... To laugh and smile.
The way you're always
there for me,
when I'm sad.
They way you know
when to
keep pressuring
for me to talk,
say what's on my mind
and for when to
leave me alone,
let me think
things through.

So glad we met,
so lucky it became love.
