It's that time of the year again
when Santa and his little Elf helpers
are busy putting together the finishing touches
for there year of hard work
in time to leave on the 24th
to spread hope, peace, love and cheer
throughout the world
for millions of children
and so to those big kids disguised in adult bodies ;),
who Santa has stored on his database
that he knows to have been good.
For come Xmas day
while all have been safely tucked up in bed
Rudolph and the other reindeer
have been busy trekking the globe
in there nice super fast paced sleigh.
Stopping at every house
for Santa to personally
go down the chimney
with some of his special side kick Elves
or through the front door
to deliver the presents
under the tree.
And so to eat the goodies left out for them,
before tip-toeing all over the house
to say: "Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas ... have a great day!"
To everyone fast asleep in their beds
then off to the next house and the next
to repeat this performance.

At the conclusion,
when they all know they've
done good for yet another year
of making everyone happy
even just for a day
it's back off home
to the North Pole
for Santa and all of his crew
for a well earned sleep
so to a fine hearty meal
made by Mrs. Claus.
Because come the beginning of the New Year
they must all begin work all over again
to bring joy come the end of the year :).
