Yes, it's so hard to believe it,
another year gone,
rolled on by.

They say it gets easier,
but who are they trying to kid.

For me, the pain is still there,
still as strong as yesterday,
and the day before that.

The memories that I once held strong
are now almost a distant memory
- the killer is time.

Thank heaven's for photos of you,
and of us together in far happier times.
Otherwise I'd fear by now,
you're face I'd have forgotten.

With these photos I hold so dear and precious to me,
I'll never forget you,
and all the wonderful times that we shared.

You'll always stay in my heart
no matter what shall happen in this life time,
no one can ever take that away from me.
