If I could have my way,
just this once.
If I could have just
one dream come true,
then it would be to spend
the nights asleep
in your arms,
the days by your side,
having fun.

Maybe one day,
I hope soon,
that my dream,
will no longer be that.

I wish I had the strength
to stand up for me,
in this way,
to tell people,
to leave me alone,
to let me live my life
the way I see fit.

Maybe this thing
that today seems so great,
won't be ... come tomorrow,
maybe it might be a mistake,

until I spread my wings,
and just take a chance.

tells me "yes"
