INTERROGATION
© Michaela

You lead me
in my dreams
to a cold,
poorly lit room.
We sat at opposite ends
of the table.
Then the interrogation began,
initiated by you.
Wanted to know
everything about
anything that
was on my mind,
especially concerning
you ... me ... us as one.

You listened
not saying a word
until I had finished
all I wanted, needed
to say.

Ha, so emotional these
days I am,
burst into tears.
Then you came around,
just hugged me,
long and strong.
Sat there for ages.

Reassured me
to just take my time,
but so guilty
and something else
I can't quite explain,
I feel.

So sorry I am,
please forgive me.
Help me get through this ... please.
So want much to be together fully.
