even during the bleakest of times
especially if we ever do fight
although few and far between I do hope
I'll always forgive you
aside from one thing
that being
if you ever cheat on me.
For if you do it once
what's to stop you ever
doing it again.
The pain once would be
unbearably bad
and any more than that
I'd doubt my shattered heart
will ever be fully healed
to love another
the way I did you
so if you want to see someone else
then at least have the decency to tell me
the way you feel
although I'll be hurt
I will one day get through it.
