I lay beside you in your bed,
Nitey nite, sweet dreams you say.
Our eyes met briefly once more,
Before your head fell to the pillow,
Inside I smiled...
I smiled knowing I'll be in your dreams once more,
And that you shall be in mine to.
My blood ... forever flows your name...
My heart ... forever beats our love...
My face ... forever craves your touch ...
My nose... forever needs your scent ...
My eyes... forever hold your beauty ...
But my body... forever yearns your presence.
As my head falls into the soft pillow,
My troubles now gone,
I feel myself falling into a light slumber,
But then I suddenly jolt upright, I realize your gone.
Where are you?
You were next to me.
You were mine.
Now you’re gone.
My blood soon forgets to flow your name ...
My heart soon forgets the beat of our love ...
My face soon forgets the crave of your touch ...
My nose soon forgets your scent ...
My eyes soon forget the beauty it once saw ...
My body no longer seeks your presence.
And then I break into a cold sweat
Awake from my scare.
I turn around, relieved,
To see you lying there!
... All, just a dream!
