Everything in life, it happens for a reason
We may not always understand the meaning.

Been dreaming about you and I finally together
For as long as I can remember.
As much as I've wanted this moment to come true for so long,
I now find myself very nervous, beyond belief.

You mean way more to me than life itself.
Than mere words could ever convey,
that feelings could ever express.
Than many a hug and many a kiss.
I just don't want to go and blow our chance.

Friendship is one thing,
Love is a competely different chapter in life.

Long midnight strolls along the beach.
Candlelight dinners.
Crazy dreams and childhood fantasties.
None of this means anything to me, not if you are not by my side.
Should we dare to give you and I a chance to work.

I don't want to go and ruin our wonderful friendship
If we should fall out of love further down the track.

I'll be there by your side,
standing tall, standing proud, supporting you,
through thick and thin.
Hoping that this love and bond we seem to share
will last for a while, if not forever.

The smile on your face and the sound of your laughter,
it brightens my day ten fold.
The sadness and hurt that you feel, although few and far between,
Seeing you suffering, it rips me apart.
Such is life I know.
