| WINDS OF LOVE By Cerridwen Rays of sunshine filter down Upon the skin of two in love The joy and laughter of these two Ride upon the wind which races far across the land While within the footprints which are left upon green meadows Are the footprints of love so true Nothing in the world could break this bond of love So deeep which they share for not even death Could burden the love they share for one another For even they could find a way to be together Just as the world's most romantic tale Like that of Romeo and Juliets' For love is strong and bonds two people with each other Only love can over rule all evil on this earth We see each day, so let there be love To be shared by all, who breathe the wind Which flys over this vast land we call home. | LIFE OF DUSK By cerridwen The eagle soars across the clear blue sky I sit in wonder, bestilled by it's beauty And watch as it dives to pick it's prey A small but careless field mouse darts from it's dirt home Within the ground Only to be picked up and flown away In the distance a coyote howls to call it's young back home Rabbits twitch in nervous disorder as they sniff For some unforseen danger Then return to home. The sun sets in deep amber and another day begins to end But as darkness draws near the day has just begun for some An owl hoots from a tree nearby Badgers move slowly from within their home In search of some delicious meal for their dinner The song of the land before me erupts in joyous chorus As the crickets sing of an evening drawing near The moon so silvery white lifts her head to greet the night Stars shine bright and light the way of my path home Where the warmth of a fire welcomes me home.
