Adolescent Student Retention
Program leader : Bob Forester
As well as our adult program Scarborough Centre
for Alternative Studies offers programming doe adolescent students
who require an alternative setting and a variety of learning
experiences.
Students who attend Retention
Programs:
- teenagers in the 14-20 year old age range
who are at risk of dropping out of school or who have been out of
school for a time
- those who no longer benefit from the
program in which they are enrolled because of poor attendance
patterns
- students who need a "timeout" from their
home school and want to return to an environment which will help
them establish good work habits and regular attendance patterns
