The very FIRST " ALL MODEL " Commodores Car Club in Sydney | S.C.C. Car Club UPDATES | THURSDAY 31st JANUARY 2002 The SCC Car Clubs second CRUISE was held recently and was a huge success ! With 2 members (including yours truly) in attendance from the LAST WOLLONGONG Cruise, this was the very FIRST cruise for all of the other attending members !!!! Some photos from the day have been posted on the "recent events" page of the website and there will be lots more coming from myself and members who attended so keep an eye out for them soon ! I would just like to thank all members for coming along and also thanx for all the emails and comments I am so glad you all enjoyed the Cruise and I look forward in seeing you again soon ! Also a big thankyou to ADAM aka "WLD WAGON" for bringing his awesome Commodore style BBQ lol and his dad "DOUGIE" for being very helpful and cooking the BBQ for me and the members ;-) THANX GUYS ! Now I am very "buggered" LOL from organizing the last events and recently the mystery cruise so for the next cruise our Events Co-Ordinator "ANDREW" aka "VLTRBO87" is going to have a go at orgainzing it - (I will still help him and not leave him totally in the learch lol) - So please feel free to give Andrew a few suggestions and comments at the Message Boards as to where and what you would like to do for the next Cruise ! Cheers ! Miss Calais ;-) TUESDAY 01st JANUARY 2002  Welcome to 2002 ! Well another year gone again and some may say good riddens too after some of the events that took place . Lets not forget the good ones but lets also not forget the many lives lost not only here in OZ in auto related events but also around the world -may they RIP. On a happier note I hope you all had a great Christmas and celebrated the new year last night with a bang ! - I know I did LOL ! ;) I actually 'bumped' into one of our members Troy aka "MIDZ" who was attending a party a few doors down from the one I was at would you believe (just can't seem to get away from him-lol jk) and it seems we have our very own firecracker expert here at the SCC ! he he he - thanx for the show Troy ;) Onto CLUB NEWS for the year and shortly (in a few days) details of the much asked about "mystery cruise" will be posted ...well most of the details leaving out the destination ofcourse ..so stay tuned for those and we are looking at SUNDAY 27th January -the day after AUSTRALIA DAY for the actual cruise to take place ! One small clue for those of you itching to know something...anything........... "NEWCASTLE members this is your chance to meet up and come along !!" OFF STREET DRAG night at Eastern Creek ! A BIG thanx to John aka CORSA for picking yours truly up last night and also to other members who attended Warren aka WAZZA, Peter aka Carcrazy and mates,and to Troy aka MIDZZ and his friends and last but not least to NOLLY member of the NSW WRX club. More details coming a little later on including a post of the time achieved by one of our members who competed on the night in his VL TURBO !!!
