There are squirrels and foxes - I used to have a group keeping chickens and ducks but had too many funerals (with weeping pupils) when they had been killed by foxes. We have made an area called the 'Greenpiece' which is made of eight sections. Each section has a purpose - examples: growing vegetables; growing fruit; encouraging butterflies. This gives rise to real confrontations - when one group wants to use pecticides to improve their crop and one will not let them.

Note: Our environmental group is trying to change the decor of our school.
