"I didn't forget."

Sharp look. "You did."

"I did not." Arms up in defense.

"You said 'Hey, let's go to the pub for a bit. There's nothing to do at home tonight."

"But there wasn't anything for us to do."

"Because you forgot!" Glare.

Heavy sigh. A key unlocking the door. "I didn't forget."

"Surprise!"

A house full of friends and family. Smiles and decorations and cake, and the man he loved. Their first year together.

Breathless. "You didn't forget."

Smiling, reaching out to hold. "Happy anniversary, Percy."

A slow smile and a soft kiss. "Happy anniversary, Oliver."
