What is a DJ, DeeJay or Disc-Jockey? They're the folks that spend hours in the basement practicing, the invisible god in the booth dictating the groove at the nightclub or in the studio making fresh vibes. Basically, it's anyone that takes a groove or two and puts it together to make a new groove or trk. It doesnt matter if they use records, cds, tape or mp3, it's all good. A radio DJ is NOT a real DJ (unless they spin and mix), they're called MCs (applies to rappers too) or DCs (human disc changers lol, so sue me...it's my site). All The names here have previously or currently showcased in this site. Update

mixes process.
1 - U submit yr mix here - if u pass my ears, u get into the next update of debut djs. 2 - Your future mixes will go to the following resident djs updates, plus a listing in netDJs profiles...now - to get into the elite section - 3 - If u somehow get signed by a major label (most prolly thru the scouts coming here) & I can get some sort of verification, u get to join the big boys. 4 - Just a club DJ? Nothing beats expierence. If U have over 10 yrs spinning & are smooth in yr mixes, yr in too. 5 - Just a bedroom DJ? - Monthly polls will determine yr entry - so u fans decide. Remember, u can only vote once, so choose carefully! Why so critical - just look at the big names there - Even the famous Strobe had to go thru this entire process if u have been following this site. I don't play favourites. Mix

Legal = Original or Given full permission to be posted here. Remix/Bootlegs = One or few trks and/or massive editing done to "remake" a trk. Megamix = Furious mix with massive editing, usually about 2 or more trks per min. Sessions = A straight forward mix (might have subtle editing). Legalese
