Y2K in Nu Yawk (EVE)  22:50 - Everywhere from 32th to Central was blocked off. People were wandering around like packs of wolves trying to find a spot. I headed to 59th (Central Park) - there were going to be fireworks there & at least there's a line of sight to the ball - these are the freaks directly in front of me!  23:58 - My spot was kinda cool - guys were passing out beers in da park. Beck's no less! Might look like a fight here but everyone was like a KumBaYa love-in. Place just exploded when the ball dropped.  00:08 - The first streakers of this century. This was NOT staged. It happened right in front of me...ha ha. To be young & carefree! I love this city - anything can happen. Head off to party at the biggest house DJ queen on 27th st. Next. |
