This is my page dedicated to the Volkswagen Scirocco. I've had my 8716V for over 17 years now. I bought it in late 1990 with 40k miles. It has 232k on it now. The 2008cc block is finally in and running with a CIS-E Motronic conversion and a TT Chip. During the rebuild I also added a 4k transmission, rear eurosport upper bar along with a front crossmember support from Vintagewatercooleds.com(AKA Eric). I felt it was absolutely necessary to keep my uncracked crossmember just that way... uncracked. I also installed a techtonics big cat. Special thanks to a lot of friends who've helped me get it this far.. BU, Cameron, Potterman, Eric Saltyweasel, the Scirocco mailing list, Daun, NCVW.org, and Charles(only for inspiration cause he drives a faster toyota). ALSO, my workbench is holding a set of Schrick 268's and TT HD valve springs. As soon as I can scrape up the funds, I'll rebuild a head with these goodies. For now, I'm truly enjoying the car's refreshed bottom end and motronic ignition. I don't think she's idled this smooth since 1990 when I got her. Future Plans include a serp belt conversion as I've got everything other than the alternator. I'm giving up on AC for now.

    Here's a picture of my (SOLD) 1979 Scirocco. She was stripped & painted by ME. It was a great experience and I will do it again someday.
