Massive Flooding & La Niña

Relief Operations:
Task Force
Oplan
Lingap

The Student Christian Movement of the Philippines (SCMP), in coordination with the Task Force Damayan ng Bayan Para sa mga Biktima ng La Niña (DAMBANA or People's Help for the Victims of La Niña), is soliciting relief goods for the victims of typhoon and massive floods in the areas of Malabon, Marikina and other areas of Metro Manila.

Likewise, in the provinces of Pampanga, Tarlac & other affected parts of Central Luzon wherein La Niña and lahar victims are continuously facing heightening impoverishment.

We are inviting everyone to become relief volunteers of OPLAN LINGAP Relief Operations and help us in soliciting the following to help the victims:

rice
canned goods
noodles & other foods
sugar
coffee
milk
clothings
blankets
tents

For more details and information on the relief operations, call or visit the national offices of SCMP [#(63-2) 924-0245 local 31] & DAMBANA [#(63-2) 925-1786].

Financial help will be gladly turned over by the SCMP & DAMBANA to the needy victims.

The SCMP chapters in some select colleges and universities in Metro Manila have set up their own relief centers who could received your donated relief goods. Those interested relief volunteers are encouraged to coordinate with the said relief centers.

Thank you very much!
