Grace to you and peace from God our Father
and Christ Jesus our Saviour. Greetings.

I have no formal theological training. I have known God by reading the Bible, Christian literatures, and listening to the sharing by His saints.

I believed in the God that Christendom believed in.
I believed in the Apostolic Creed.

I have a perfect God. But my understanding of Him is rather limited because I am imperfect. However I know enough to believe that He is God and only He can save me. I would like to share whatever I know with whoever is looking for God and salvation. I respect Christians who might have dogmas different from mine. Whatever it is this is the God I know. I am open to views of others who visit this site.

I have no Pentecostal or charismatic experiences, as understood by the respective movements. I am just an "ordinary" Christian who is blessed by the grace and mercy of God unceasingly.

Now to Christ Jesus who is able to strengthen you,
According to the gospel,
According to the revelation of the mystery,
Which was kept secret for long ages,
But is now disclosed through His Holy Bible,
And the writings of His saints,
I would like to make it known to all nations,
According to the command of the eternal God,
To bring about the obedience of faith.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ;
The love of God;
And the fellowship of the Holy Spirit,
Be with you all. Amen.

THE BIBLE

The Bible was given by God to reveal Himself and His plan of salvation to humankind. It is for this and this purpose alone that God gave us the Bible. Revelation 22:18 and 19 declared that the revelation is complete. So any group claiming that God had sent them with the latest revelation is against the teaching of the Bible. Islam is an example.

God knew that it is impossible for humankind to understand what He wanted to say. So He prepared individuals to present them in human light. The authors were mortals inspired by God to pen out His revelations. Because of this, the Christian faith stands by every word and dot presented in the Bible.

God had even designed the Bible in two sections. My understanding is, the Old Testament basically was to prepare us to understand the New Testament. It is very illustrative, both about God and His plan of salvation. The New Testament was a precise discourse of God and His plan of salvation.

The Bible is not primarily about moral issues. However it cannot but deal with the standard of God's perfection.

The Bible was meant for Christians to work out their salvation. It should not be used to pass moral judgment on others. No Christian can claim to have achieved perfection. Neither can any Christian claim that all non-Christians have a lower standard of morality. However the Christian faith claimed that, regardless of the state of immorality, only by believing in God and His salvation plan a person be allowed to enter His Kingdom.

The Bible is not a science or technology textbook. However it is in total agreement with science. If there is an apparent conflict it is a must to look up the Bible to understand the issue.

In most issues the universal church is correct, but not all the time. The church is not infallible. This is understandable, as clergies might not necessarily have a deep understanding of all disciplines; science being one of such discipline. A case in history was the persecution of scientists who reported that the earth orbited about the sun, and not the sun around the earth.

The Bible is true to science whenever it deals with an issue. If it was silent, no one should extrapolate and speculate. The issue is simply not important enough with regard to knowing God, or for understanding His plan of salvation. Science is nothing but the study of universal laws established by God. God is confident that the intelligence He had given to humankind is sufficient for them to find the answer.
