The 22B STi: If god had a car then he would drive a 22B Impreza. From its water cooled turbo to its gold wheels the 22B is totally faultless in everyway. In 555 Sonic Blue, the 22B kicks ass. Body modifications over the original car are as follows: |

The 22B is the 1998 rally replica and only 400 were made making it a very rare treat. Its internals are what are important and its flat four engine has had its capacity increased from 2 to 2.2 litres and had a water-cooled turbo strapped to it. With 280bhp, it is quoted to meet with Japanese regulations. The real horsepower is in fact well over 300! The tuned Boxer engine has been fettled to produce the power at the lower and middle of the revs range and it does exactly that, watch the white dials as 60 is reached in just 4 seconds! |

|
Torque peaks at 267lb/ft at 3,200rpm with a great slice of power from 2,800 @ 5,200rpm. Top speed is limited a spoil sport 112mph, but with a bit of fettling, it will soon be removed. Speed isn`t anything without good grip, corning is exceptional with the tremendous torque split 35/65%, front/rear. I suppose this could be down to the 235/40 Pirelli P-Zero tyres wrapped around the token 17" Speedline gold alloys. |

Distinguishing Features: The most noticeable feature is the flared arches and the special style alloys. A real keen eye will spot the blacked out rear windows. The 22B is only available in two door and in blue mica paint. Another feature is the red badges, Subaru Technica International spotlight covers and one less air slot next to the spotlights. |
