When you first walked into the basement office 
I knew 
That things would never be the same 
 
You challenge me 
With your science 
You stand by me 
Even when you don't believe

When everyone turned their back on me 
You came into my life 
And stood by me 
 
We've conquered, killed and been injured 
But we both bounced back and together carried on

I don’t know when exactly I wrote this one, although I know that this is one of my many firsts. He he, I definitely wanted to edit this one too. This poem is kind of what I want: someone who will love you always, and fight till the end of time if I am in danger. <Big freaking sigh> Though right now I don’t know if that man exists
