Some judges cannot stand anyone who represents themselves and who dares to say that the judge has got it wrong or is incompetent.
One mean trick judges have used against me is to question my sanity and then have me locked up (for three weeks on one occasion) for a compulsory psychiatric examination. The judges are often utterly incompetent but are so powerful and out of control that they are in a position to make anyone rot in jail unjustly.

Simultaneously, an evil judge can threaten a perfectly healthy person with the procedure to issue compulsory treatment orders - drugs, electro-convulsive therapy or lobotomy.

At least in the days of judicial execution, there was no pretence that the death penalty that was being imposed was intended for the good of the condemned person's health! Nowadays, the state can condemn your brain to oblivion while pretending to care for your health. Is this sinister or what?
