SCOTTISH NATIONAL STANDARD BEARER:
Peter DowSurprise, surprise, the traitor to Scotland, George Reid MSP is inviting Queen Elizabeth to the opening ceremony for the Scottish Parliament's new building at Holyrood, Edinburgh. That the majority of royalist lackey MSPs will support Reid's invitation is what you'd expect from that useless bunch.
The cost of the new Holyrood parliament building has been commented upon and inquired into - but not by me because that debate has missed the point, and the point is this:
The true scandal is the waste of the marvellous opportunity of the Scottish Parliament since it was reconvened in 1999. Instead of properly using the new parliament to get the Queen and her royalist, fascist state off the backs of the Scottish nation, our numpty MSPs have used it simply to cheer on her "majesty" and her incompetent ministers, judges, civil servants, police and so on.
Instead of changing Scotland for the better, our MSPs have taken their salary and taken away the best life chances of the vast majority of the Scottish people while leaving royalist chancers ruling and ruining Scotland.
Investing in a new needed institution is wise, but failing to use it for its true purpose is foolish. For example, it is wise to build and equip a new hospital but it would be foolish to staff a new hospital building entirely with unqualified staff with no medical or nursing skills.
Scots were wise to agree in a referendum to re-establish the Scottish parliament but by putting their faith in the likes of Reid (SNP), McConnell (Labour), Wallace (Lib Dem), Swinney (SNP), McLetchie (Conservative) and now Harper (Green), many Scots have foolishly cut off their own nose to spite their face. I still hope that one day the more politically aware Scots might follow up the advance of re-establishing the Scottish parliament by more actively trying to offer competent political alternatives to the stale, royalist parties. Although, admittedly, there is the non-royalist SSP, there is still no sign of Scottish republican politicians with winning defence policies.
Queen Elizabeth is coming to Edinburgh to take pride of place in this ceremony, perhaps this October 2004, in order, again, to ram down the throats of the Scots her claim for herself and her brats, to "sovereignty" or the Windsor "right" to rule over the Scots as head of state - a claim that is an offence against Scottish democracy. Reid will be only too happy to grovel to the Windsor dynasty with his "Queen of Scots" compliments and no doubt school children will be press-ganged into cheering the Queen on, as per usual. The Scottish nation will be gawking on and the danger is that innocent Scots will be duped by the Windsor pageantry, unless they see and hear an alternative message.
Then will not be the time for Scottish republicans to flee the field of political battle - rather, it would be tactically wise for Scottish republicans to PROTEST against Queen Elizabeth having any role in the opening of the Scottish Parliament's new building.
Let us Scots make our intentions for the new Holyrood building plain - this parliament is built not to praise the Queen but to finish with Windsor dominion over Scotland's affairs.
In Edinburgh 3 June 2003, Scots witnessed the single biggest betrayal of their interests and future since the Queen's address to the Scottish Parliament in 2002 at Aberdeen. I refer, of course, to the invitation of the Presiding Officer to the Queen, extending to her the great privilege of addressing the Scottish Parliament.
Intelligent Scots have come to expect vacuous and misleading verbiage from Queen Elizabeth. To have that foolish traitor Elizabeth given the highest platform in the land was a cruel stab to Scotland's brave heart from one we have elected ourselves. George Reid and Sir David Steel: names that will live in infamy. On the day of the address, sitting opposite the Queen like right loyal lackeys were the equally failing Deputy Presiding Officers - Tosh & Trish (Murray Tosh and Trish Godman - not daring to voice dissent from the Queen's condemnation of Scotland's short-term prospects.)
So George Reid, the new Presiding Officer of the new parliament will carry on his failure as deputy presiding officer in the last parliament. I don't know if George Reid, like many of his former SNP colleagues, pays lip-service to the sovereignty of the Scottish people? Whatever, in practice, George Reid uses his lips (and tongue) to suck up to the Queen (and therefore implicitly to entertain her claim to be the [sovereign?] head of state of Scotland) whenever the Queen puts in an appearance at the parliament. How disgusting and what a betrayal of Scotland that is!
PROTEST AGAINST YET ANOTHER BETRAYAL OF THE SCOTTISH PEOPLE!
Traitor Queen Elizabeth accepted surrender of Scottish Parliament on 3rd June 2003
Listening to the way Reid obsequiously referred to "Her Majesty" and "Queen of Scots" when he presided over the parliament, it is clear that Reid is still loyal to the Queen and therefore still disloyal to the Scottish people. There is now proof positive that the Presiding Officer of the Scottish Parliament is a traitor to Scotland. (So, no change there then.)
Reid arranged the blatant act of surrender by the Scottish Parliament to the traitor Queen Elizabeth, namely when the Queen was allowed to address the Scottish Parliament.
This was the 3rd successive formal humiliation that disrespected the rights of the Scottish people: rights, civil and human, that are daily trampled over by the state the Queen heads up. We who protested against the Queen, Reid and his supporting M.S.P.s betrayal of our rights should be proud that we have done our duty. We have demonstrated that not all Scots have surrendered to the traitor Queen.
The Scots have been betrayed by their own countrymen before. Reid's historical betrayal ranks alongside the most cruel crimes ever perpetrated against the Scots.
