Resume
Elona

The day you sat in the seat in front of me
In English class in fifth period in the afternoon
A day long past in a time a long time ago
No one ever was nor could be so beautiful
Let Helen have a paltry thousand ships to launch
Elona you launched ten thousand ships every day

Your beauty burned into my mind you were the sun
Now my memories can always recall your shining brightness
Mortals must awe to have you here among us
You did not know who I was or even care
It did not matter just to have seen your face
It was not for me to touch that flame
I could have been consumed entirely by the heat
Blue eyes made the ocean depths seem so meaningless
Page-boy hair short and blonde caressed your cheeks

That such perfection could be achieved shows me God
He placed you here on earth to give hope
He created you and everything else it is good
So good I can never forget that day in class

I do not know where you are now Elona
You moved away not long after that day in class
O Elona the beautiful girl from my younger days
You will be remembered forever
