ABOUT
About Scott
Resume
Nightfall

Can't say it's too soon
Fly away on the coming night breeze
Giving no second thought to what
Is left behind in the sand
That seagull has been calling you all day
And you are about to make your decision
The essence of experience forgotten
Beside the soundscape calling you
Its lure is beginning to lose its luster
And fades as the night closes in

Give it all away to be free
As darkness covers your trail
Beside the shimmering sea
That will never end

The world turns circles around the sun
And you can only wonder why
Is the world going where you want it to
Is this the last mistake you will make
But you've made it all on your own
And you can live with that forever
Even if you fail, you can try again
To make your way across the dark oceans
Gone forever on the dark of time
Gone in a blur
Can you find meaning among the waves
And will you like what you have found
Knowing the things you have learned
It is hard to conceal that you are leaving
And leaving in a blur

Push possibility through
Speculate on anonymity
From the shores of the sea
Give in to possibility
Walls are there to hold you
The sky is there to free you

Turn to the other side
Turn your back on the maze
Live like the motion gave you control
Turn over all the leaves

A meandering stream looking for the sea
But not trying very hard
So much along the way everywhere
Given luck and time to travel there
